In 2013 a Lion Air jet with a rookie pilot at the controls undershot the runway and crashed into the sea in Bali, splitting the plane in two. Be aware. Batik was well organized to rush us through but it was a Super Air Jet, a new Indonesian airline. A new Indonesian airline named Super Air Jet will be launching operations soon, and the carrier now has its first plane. Super Air Jet’s first plane is an Airbus A320 with the registration code PK-SAJ. This is a roughly 10 year old plane that previously flew for Indigo, which is an Indian low cost carrier. Batik Air is certified as a 3-Star Airline by Skytrax for the quality of its airport and onboard product and staff service. It offers a good onboard product standard for domestic and short-haul flights, and a comfortable seat in Economy and Business. Meal and snack standards are also good. Cabin staff service can be good, but lacks consistency and is below some Indonesian competitor airlines. vVWxQ.
